Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
The Medicare 270/271 Eligibility system is currently available but is timing out a significant number of requests. The majority of requests are receiving a proper eligibility response, but some are receiving a AAA03=42 'System Not Available' response. This issue has been escalated to CMS IT for resolution.
In order to resolve this issue, the HETS 270/271 application will undergo emergency maintenance tonight beginning at 6:30 PM ET. The HETS 270/271 application will be unavailable during this maintenance period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance will be complete by 8:30 PM ET on Monday, November 29, 2010.
