Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces an update to a previously announced outage as well as a new upcoming outage to the HETS 270/271 Medicare eligibility system.
1. The previously announced outage for Saturday, January 7, 2017 has been shorted. The updated outage is now as follows. The outage will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Saturday, January 7, 2017. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS now estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 5:00 PM ET on Saturday, January 7, 2017.
2. CMS announces a new upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. The outage will begin at 11:30 PM ET on Saturday, January 7, 2017. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 7:00 AM ET on Sunday, January 8, 2017.
