Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS previously announced a HETS outage for Saturday morning, June 17, 2017 (see below). CMS announces that this HETS outage has been cancelled.
CMS also announces two new outages to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. The first outage will begin at 8:30 PM ET on Saturday, June 17, 2017. The CMS data center will undergo maintenance and the HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, June 18, 2017.
The second outage will begin at 8:30 PM ET on Friday, June 23, 2017. The CMS data center will undergo maintenance and the HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:00 PM (Noon) ET on Sunday, June 25, 2017.
