Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS announces an upcoming outage to the Medicare HETS 270/271 eligibility system. CMS data center maintenance will begin at 7:30 AM ET on Sunday, January 7, 2018. The HETS 270/271 system will be unavailable during this period. Attempts to open a connection to the HETS 270/271 application will result in errors. CMS estimates that the maintenance window will be completed by 12:30 PM ET on Sunday, January 7, 2018.
Please note that the outage detailed above is in addition to the previously announced HETS release installation for Friday, December 29, 2017-Sunday, December 31, 2017. CMS also reminds HETS Submitters that HCPCS code G0202 will no longer be valid or accepted by HETS effective January 1, 2018. Please see below for additional details.
