Medicare HETS 270/271 Submitters:
CMS has published an update to the HETS 270/271 R2018Q400 Release Summary. Section 3.2 was updated to remove four HCPCS codes from the list of possible MDPP related codes that could be returned in a HETS 271 response effective with the R2018Q400 release.
The HETS R2018Q400 Release will introduce several potential changes to the HETS 271 response. CMS has published a HETS 270/271 R2018Q400 Release Summary in anticipation of this release. CMS urges all HETS submitters to use this R2018Q400 Release Summary and the upcoming HETS 270/271 R2018Q400 Companion Guide to prepare for this upcoming release.
