Updates For Medical Severity Diagnosis Related Groups (MS-DRG) Subject to Inpatient Prospective Payment System (IPPS) Replaced Devices Offered Without Cost or With a Credit Policy- Fiscal Year (FY) 2022
The purpose of this Change Request (CR) is to implement the following updates to the list of DRGs subject to the IPPS payment policy for the reimbursement of replaced devices offered without cost or with a credit, effective for discharges on or after 10/01/2020

The following DRG changes are effective for discharges on or after October 1, 2020:
- Add MS-DRGs 140,141,142, 521 & 522
- Remove MS-DRGs 129 & 130
