Ing-Jye Cheng
Ing-Jye Cheng serves at the Deputy Director, Parts A and B, of the Center for Medicare, overseeing rules and regulations governing Medicare fee-for-service payment and operations. She joined CMS in 2009 as the Deputy Director of the Division of Acute Care in the Hospital and Ambulatory Policy Group. She has also served as Deputy Director and Acting Director for that Group, managing the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, Part B drug payments, payments for clinical laboratory testing, inpatient and outpatient hospital payments, as well as payments for a variety of other acute and ambulatory care settings. In addition, she has served as Director of the Chronic Care Policy Group, managing payment for inpatient specialty care, home health, hospice, dialysis, and Medicare cost-based reimbursement. Previously, she worked for the Maryland Hospital Association and in management consulting. Ing-Jye earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from American University and a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
