Overview:

The Long-Term Services and Supports Open Door Forum (ODF) addresses the concerns of beneficiaries and stakeholder communities in relation to the Medicaid & Medicare programs. This Forum strives to handle questions on delivery of services to older adults and individuals with disabilities. Many of the discussions are broad in nature and serve to inform all participants about the different levels of integration between agency policy and legislative efforts. Timely announcements and clarifications regarding important rulemaking, agency program initiatives and other related areas are included in the forums.

**Updated Agenda: August 28, 2019 - Special Open Door Forum (SODF): Open Payments Expansion under the SUPPORT Act, Thursday August 29, 2019, 2018 from 2:00pm -3:00pm Eastern Time. This SODF on the Substance Use-Disorder Prevention that Promotes Opioid Recovery and Treatment for Patients and Communities Act (SUPPORT Act) impact on the Open Payments program. Open Payments is a national disclosure program that promotes a more transparent and accountable health care system by publishing the financial relationships between applicable manufactures and group purchasing organizations (GPOs) and health care providers (physicians and teaching hospitals). The provisions in the SUPPORT Act that impact Open Payments are a rider on the 2020 Physician Fee Schedule. CMS is formally soliciting feedback via comments on the Physician Fee Schedule, which is available through September 27, 2019. This call is intended for the providers impacted by the expanded definition and will provide an opportunity to learn about Open Payments, how the expansion directly affects them, and their role within the Open Payments program.
