Provides CMS with support in designing, developing and implementing compliance training (including distance learning and the technology necessary to facilitate that function) to include conducting event planning; outreach to impart clear and authoritative guidance, and providing interpretations of new rules, models, tools and protocols for HHS/CMS staff, as well as MA and Part D Sponsoring Organizations. Areas of training and outreach include topics related to the Medicare Parts C and D programs.  Some examples of training topics for 2017 comprised of the following:
