Guides & Documentation
Please note that this page includes user support documentation for both EIDM, and the new IDM system. Once the migration is complete and the EIDM system has been retired, this page will be updated and all EIDM related content will be archived by CMS. For information on the migration schedule, please visit the EIDM to IDM Migration Overview.
IDM Documentation
IDM user documentation is made available here for your convenience. As the IDM system evolves, these documents will be updated. We encourage application business owners and system maintainers to tailor the IDM User Guide for their own end users.
At this time, there are no Quick Reference Guides for IDM. We encourage end users to access the IDM User Guide if they have questions about how to complete any action in the new system. If you cannot find the answers you’re looking for, please contact your Tier 1 Help Desk.
If a specific document or training artifact is needed, but not available here, then please contact the IDM Communications Team at IDMCommunications@cms.hhs.gov.

EIDM YouTube
In conjunction with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS) YouTube channel, EIDM has created its own playlist within this channel to make all training videos available. For your convenience, the EIDM Playlist is embedded into this page below. To toggle between videos, simply click the menu icon in the upper left-hand corner of the video frame. An extended list of the available EIDM training videos will expand and you will be able to choose your desired training. To access the EIDM Playlist in your browser via YouTube, click the link provided at the bottom of this page under "Related Links".
