Overview
The Quality Assessment Only (QAO) performance requirement for the home health annual performance update (APU) is 90%. The table below shows the QAO reporting schedule to home health agencies for 2021. More information on the QAO performance requirement is available on the Home Health Quality Reporting webpage. The QAO Interim and Annual Performance Reports will remain in the Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES) folders for 120 days.
The HH QRP data submission requirements were temporarily exempted in response to the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) Public Health Emergency (PHE). Additionally, public reporting of home health agencies’ data was frozen after the October 2020 refresh through October 2021. Beginning with the January 2022 refresh public reporting will resume for quality measure data, including the release of the Provider Preview Reports.
