October 4, 2019 – CMS to Host Two Webinars to Highlight New Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Aside (WCMSA) Electronic Attestation Enhancements.

CMS will be hosting two webinars to highlight new Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Aside (WCMSA) Electronic Attestation Enhancements.  The first webinar, to be held on October 30, 2019, will be for Medicare beneficiaries and their representatives.  The second webinar, to be held on November 6, 2019, will be for Professional Administrators.  Complete details for the two webinars are available in the Downloads section below.

September 16, 2019 - Use of the Center for Disease Control (CDC) 2016 Life Tables Correction

Please note that this posting includes a date correction. Beginning October 12, 2019, CMS will convert to the CDC’s “Table 1: Life Table for the total population: United States, 2016“ for the Workers’ Compensation  Medicare Set Aside  life expectancy calculations. A link to the CDC’s 2016 Life Tables may be found in the Related Links section at the bottom of this page.
