How they met the pledge

FHIRedApp providers the ability for 2.5 million patients in Texas to access their longitudinal records from all healthcare providers connected to the Connxus HIE in Austin. FHIRedApp used ID.me for identity verification, and once patients are matched to their records they can access them all medical records and also complete health assessments (PHQ9, etc.) on the App. Patients can then create barcodes to share their records and determine how long the barcodes are accessible for and how many times they can be scanned. Logs of data sharing and access along with the ability to deactivate barcodes are also available in the App. FHIRedApp is under review by DiMe Seal and managed in the Connxus HiTRUST environment.
