Polygon Health securely connects to CMS-aligned networks via TEFCA, enabling patients to bring their real health records into a single, personalized digital health wallet. With explicit patient consent, we retrieve relevant health information and use it to power our AI assistant, which answers patient questions about their records. Additionally, our health wallet allows patients to drill down into individual records, in which case our AI provides clear, easy-to-understand summaries. Our assistant clearly distinguishes general educational content from clinical guidance, so patients always know what kind of information they are receiving. Where appropriate, it helps patients directly with their questions; where a decision calls for clinical judgment, it guides them to consult a qualified health professional. Data is protected end-to-end: encrypted at rest and in transit, access-controlled, and logged for accountability. As CMS technical requirements continue to evolve, we are actively refining consent scope and data-minimization practices to keep pace.
