Thrive Mobile
Patient Facing App - Kill the Clipboard
How they met the pledge
Thrive Mobile is the first wireless provider built for healthcare outcomes, and it builds health record access directly into the smartphone. Because Thrive provides each member a device and manages it through its mobile device management (MDM) capabilities, record access is native to onboarding — part of the flow, not a separate step, and with no separate app to find or download.
During onboarding the member consents, and Thrive works with HealthEx to enable the data connection that locates and returns the member's records across the national interoperability network. The member then has their medical-record QR code one-click away, so their records are ready to share with their provider at the point of care — no account to create and no clipboard to fill out.
This advances the Kill the Clipboard pledge: with the member's consent, HealthEx locates and returns the patient's records across the national interoperability network, and the member shares them with providers via a QR code, always one-click away — eliminating the need to repeatedly recall and hand-write a medical history scattered across providers.
